Male Red-Winged Blackbird Singing while In-Flight
I love listening to the almost constant singing of male red-winged blackbirds. Their wings have an almost fiery appearance in evening sunlight! From a technical perspective, they're quite tricky to expose for without blowing out their red/orange/yellow wing color or crushing the blacks. It is for challenges like this that I continue to get out there in crazy hot weather, spin knobs, push buttons, and keep firing away on the shutter. The challenge is real... and yet, so rewarding.
